Vanguard photo accessories are awesome!!!

I have a new favorite company for photo accessories! We have a new photo partner for Tripods and gear bags, Vanguard has been generous enough to send me some free gear to try out and review. I just received my first order of Vanguard gear and I am super impressed with the quality!! I got an Alta Pro 283CT Carbon Fiber Tripod, an SBH-100 Ball Head, an UPRise 43 Sling Bag, a VGP 33 Hard Case and a Supreme 54 hard case. Every single piece was impressive - the tripod is super light but amazingly sturdy and stable. I don't think my Monfroto tripod will ever make out of the bag again. The sling bag is super cool too - I have had my eye on one for a while. Now that I finally have it in my hands I am finding it so handy. It has quick access to my camera and accessories without having to take the bag off. Plus it is loaded with pockets and compartments that make this little bag much bigger than it looks. The hard cases are indestructible and will come in super handy for airline travel. I just thought I would share my opinion with everyone because I don't think I would have wasted so much money on other tripods and gear bags if I knew about these guys earlier. Merry Christmas!!!!!

2009 has been a wild ride! From destination weddings to NASCAR shoots and the expansion of our advertising and marketing services we have been running at full speed. With all of the new and exciting projects this year we still managed to survived another Christmas season. This is the time of year when I test how long I can last with no sleep. I am happy to report that we are going to continue to expand our commercial photography and marketing services in the New Year. This has been a long time goal of mine and I'm happy to be able to include this kind of work in my portfolio. With Senior Pics winding down and the Weddings starting to taper off slightly I am ready to regroup and get focused on new exciting projects for 2010. I hope everyone has a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The world of change!!

It's been a while and as always This summer has brought lots of exciting opportunities!! Our recent real estate endeavor has now become a rental and I'm quite happy to say that it is almost ready for it's new tenants, even though Gallippo's Photography won't be one of them. I'm excited to see fall roll in and I'm looking forward to the awesome color change that is about to take place.

I am really excited to have some of my work featured in NASCAR Illustrated magazine's September issue!! The Article highlights Sam Hornish Jr's custom hot rod and it is a really great ride.

There is always a strange feeling when summer comes to an end- it seems to be this nostalgic feeling I get and I don't know why, but summer just seems to have this magic that you just can't replace. I guess I'm glad I live in a place that has four seasons so I get to experience and appreciate all the changes and beauty of each one. Well I hope to see you all soon!!!!

Where does the time go

Wow! I started this thing in March and it is now June and I'm just getting back to it. Do you ever wish you had about 20 more hours in the day! Well there are lots of fun new developments here at the Gallippo's camp and I don't have time to get to all of them because I still need those extra 20 hours, but I can tell you this summer is gonna be a blast!! We have a record number of weddings this year and I'm super excited about the great couples we will be working with!!! I am also prepping to start senior rep sessions - I know I know I should have started already but it just seems easier to do killer sessions in the summer when we don't have to deal with school schedules. If you want to rep give us a call cause we just have a few spots left. Well I gotta go so I hope to see everybody this summer and I'll try to post in less than 2 months next time!!!!

Guess I'm a blogger too!

Well this is blogging. I never thought when I started a career in photography that I would be sharing my thoughts on the subject with the mass public, but I have to admit it is an intriguing concept.
